Oh boy it's been a while folks

Got some major burnout at the same time I'm continuing my classes and then immediately got smacked with the writer's curse, aka something real bad happening out of nowhere lol. I'm doing better and trying to kick-start writing this again. I'm still obsessed with Voltron Force of course, but right now that obsession is geared toward yelling and some art instead of writing.

Not to dump on you guys too much, but academia is really stressing me out, and I'm finally seeing headway towards a better situation like two years of struggling. Everything gets better if we fight for it.

Mod Log 6

Hi hi! It's your lovely mod again, coming in to give an update on the next chapter of Recovery! So currently I'm in the last few weeks of my class year, meaning I'm busy busy. As you (hopefully) already know, my real life will always take priority first, so when I can will myself to sit down and type out part of the chapter, I'll do my best! Don't expect a new chapter soon, but I want to hope that it'll be near finish in a month or so, I'll definitely have more time to continue this passion project again <3

No sneak peaks for the chapter, but I can tell you that this episode isn't a total rehashing like the other ones are. For most chapters, they're reworked from the episode ideas and script already there, but this time plot B is entirely my own stuff. It's taking a lot longer than it usually does to pump these out because I really want to get my ideas out in a way that flows with the rest of the episode.

Honestly, after this book is done, I'm thinking of completely reformatting it. Meaning, the chapters will be edited again and split up into more chapters before the episode can be called done. Though seeing my timeline so far, that'll be way in the future. The chapters will still probably be up as they are until at least chapter 1 (not the prologue) is split up into said chapters, so they won't be gone for a while.

I have a lovely editor who's teaching me to grow my style more and, in that, teaching me what type of writing I'm actually doing. My improvement is both for me and you, dear readers, so hopefully you'll enjoy the end product as much as I've enjoyed learning to become a better writer!

This blog hasn't been updated in a while, but I'm still kicking! In the meantime, my FFN and AO3 accounts have been uploaded with other fics I've written that don't have to do with VFS specifically. Check those out if you've liked my writing so far, thanks for reading up!

I know I hyped up the next chapter drop for around this time but I can't post it or even work on it right now because of real world activities. I'm sorry for promising it but I can still say it's very close to finish, I'm on the final act of the chapter so it can be finished relatively quick. I won't promise or hype up another drop time because again, life, so it'll come out when it comes out

New things posted!

I ended up leaving the World Building section empty for too long! I added some new links to already added sections, so if you want to learn more about how I envision the universe of Voltron, go have a look see! Also, I'm working on adding more things that connect to what I've already posted, especially finally getting to the planets themselves.

I'd like to take this time to remind you guys this is all my own thoughts, and they're VERY unfinished. Recovery is the only book I had planned out, so once I'm finished with that I'll be taking time to actually connect everything instead of trying to dig around my head for a hint of connecting threads.

Speaking of Recovery, hopefully I can upload a new chapter by the weekend at the latest. I'm still not done with it, and that's before any proofreading and necessary editing that it will for sure need. When it does come out, I hope you all like the changes I made, especially because the episode itself threw specific pieces of itself out there that just didn't land right in my eyes.

Once again, don't be a stranger! I'd love to talk about ideas anyone has because the universe knows this show breeds that kind of stuff <3

A/N: I may have said I was on hiatus until January, but that was in terms of the main rewrite. I wanted to introduce another new character before she actually showed up in the story. This takes place technically after Chapter 4, but that chapter is like a continuation of Chapter 3, so I'm gonna allow me to do this just this once! Update Schedule Update!

So I may have entirely forgotten to say this stuff here, aha, better late than never I guess

If it wasn't already obvious, VFS has no update schedule. This is due to life refusing to pull punches, so I won't be setting anything in stone, it's just the fact that a chapter will come out eventually!

This month I won't be uploading a chapter, mainly because it's the holidays and want to enjoy it. But, I can say that chapter 4 is finished and will be published in January! That's the last prepped chapter I have, to be honest, so I'm also taking this time to go back and outline some more chapters.
